The Dictator [2012 Movie Review]
Hello Everyone, thanks to OMY.SG and Club UIP, Baby and I had the privilege to attend the movie screening of The Dictator today and we must say, we had a rather enjoyable time watching the movie. By the way, The Dictator is set to be released on 14 June 2012 [next Thursday]
Here is the Movie Plot [as extracted from Golden Village]:
The heroic story of a dictator who risks his life to ensure that democracy would never come to the country he so lovingly oppressed.
Alright, I know that the movie plot as extracted from Golden Village is pretty short so if you want a full detailed movie plot which might kinda spoil the surprise, check out the following link --> The Dictator Movie Plot
Our Opinion of the Movie:
Ok, this movie is not for everyone as it is rated M18 due to elements of sexual humour and nudity. However, for those of you whom are above 18 and want a good laugh, you might want to catch this movie to de-stress yourself as the movie is absolutely hilarious. Though the movie is only 83 minutes long, you might find yourself laughing away throughout the entire movie [or 3/4 of the movie perhaps]. Sadly, the Singapore version of The Dictator movie is censored to a large extent and certain parts of the movie have been taken out. The storyline of the movie is quite predictable and at times can be quite boring as some events that are orchestrated in the movie are overly coincidental/deliberate. If you enjoy the likes of Harold and Kumar, we are very sure that you would enjoy The Dictator too.
